With Mitchell getting the invites to these high profile camps for the nation's top BB players, I wonder what effect this will have on the number of games UNT will have televised? Bet we get a bunch.

With the way their off season is going, I don't think a top 10 pick is too far fetched.

I really hope that Tony is one of those players who is so great in college he takes his team very far and everybody in the country knows about him and isn't surprised when he's a lottery pick, rather than the guy that becomes a lottery pick and people wonder why they'd never heard about him. Of course this would mean a magical March Madness run and/or preseason NIT run.

NBE Sports Report is reporting that Tony Mitchell is 'the' college player that stands out at the Lebron James Skills Academy:

Mitchell stands out in college workouts

One thing that stood out in the college workouts was the size of North Texas forward Tony Mitchell. The rising sophomore is built like a pro right now. Physically he’s been a handful at times for some of the other big men at the camp, and there’s definitely room for growth in the skill department. Tony Benford’s got himself a very good one in Mitchell as he begins his tenure as head coach at UNT.
