Charlotte and Old Dominion will give C-USA two decent men’s basketball programs, but the league’s football setup is almost laughable. Green Wave football has no excuse to be in the top tier of the new-look, 2013 version of the conference. If football head coach Curtis Johnson’s squad starts losing to the likes of newly created UTSA or Charlotte, or to former Sun Belt stalwarts North Texas and Florida International, I would call into question the wisdom of keeping Tulane athletics at the Division I level.

Somehow I don't think he likes us. Hope we pummel 'em annually. I do have to admit that I'm not real fond of the addition of the football newbies to the conference myself. It undoubtably lowers the perception of the conference in many people's minds.

Tulane needs to shutup and stay put. My older brother received a great Bourbon Street education at Tulane and I can't wait to attend a game with him in New Orleans. He hasn't been to one in over 50 years!

He has a point... Losing Houston, UCF, Memphis and Smu is pretty rough for the conference... Yet they are replacing the top programs with programs that have very little creditability and history... Theyre rebuilding the conference and it will take a little time

This is a TULANE STUDENT NEWSPAPER.

Take this as seriously as you take the NT Daily.

It is a lab so students can get experience for their clip books.

If this girl uses this column as a clip, she will be looking for a job for a long time.

They have won 15 games total in 5 years..... or averaging 3-9 per season. Their last winning season was 2002. I'm not so sure I would be complaining much about "easier" opponents showing up.

Wow, twit, tw*t, chic, girl aren't we an accepting bunch.

Instead of refuting the merits, or lack there of, in the article we attack the author's gender.
