One of the interesting twists when you look at UNT’s roster heading into next season is just how deep this team is at tight end.

UNT had a terrific string of tight ends through the bowl years with Jeff Muenchow, Randy Gardner, Beau Davidson and Andy Blount to name a few. UNT switched offenses and the tight end disappeared for a while, but came back as a more prominent position in UNT’s offense last year.

Andrew Power, who is about as good a blocking tight end as one is going to find in the Sun Belt, caught 16 passes for 142 yards last year. Drew Miller added six catches for 105 yards and Daniel Prior had four for 23 yards.

All three are back with Power and Miller listed at No. 1 and No.2 on the depth chart heading out of spring practice.

I am SHOCKED, SUPER SHOCKER SHOCKED that this thread isn't 5 pages long... anyway, it is nice the TE position is making a strong comeback.
