NTXCOOG- I have two questions for you.

1. Does the student section sell out, if so how far in advance do students need to get tickets?

2. I plan on sitting in the visitor section. Will my student seat allow me to sit there?

1. The student section is almost always full. It's general admission so we have seen some lines on game day for bigger games. There are usually student guest tickets available for purchase starting the Monday before the game. The number of guest tickets are limited, and for some very high demand games, they don't have student guest tickets. Try this link for more info on student tickets http://www.uhcougars.com/tickets/hou-tickets-students.html. Some students buy guest tickets just so they don't have to wait in line or worry about getting seats.

2. Sudent section is Sections 117-119, 217-219 & 209-216. Here's a map of the sections (pdf) http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/hou/genrel/auto_pdf/seatingcharts2009-robertson.pdfhttp://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/hou/genrel/auto_pdf/seatingcharts2009-robertson.pdf

Is there a section for away fans? Do you think it would be better if I just bought a ticket to sit in the UNT section instead of trying to get w/ my student ID and then making my way to the UNT/visitor section?

I'd definitely recommend it if you're going to be wearing green and cheering for UNT. The student section can be a bit "enthusiastic."

Definitely. I was 100% planning on sitting in the away section. Just making sure I couldn't use my ID to get in to the away sections. It appears as if I can not do that.

However, I will try to go to a few home games that my beloved UNT is not playing and I might even don some red and white.

Thanks for the heads up. I am sure it will sell out due to your fans finally getting a big name program in the house.

By the way, you guys still sell beer in the stadium right? Not that I won't be there anyway.

That's what I was thinking. Probably should move the game to Reliant Stadium.
