I'm pretty sure.....the ONLY scheduling that the Ath. Director does.....is football.
In all the other sports........the respective coaches, do it.
Last year, we were the very last team in Div. I to finalize our schedule.
What the Ath. Director could do.....is demand that we make the home OOC games....more of a priority.
But, don't hold your breath on that.
Just curious. Do you think he doesn't try to schedule good teams to play in Denton on purpose or do you think he is incompetent? This subject has come up for several years even when Baker was here.
The pack is claiming, among other things, that the Mountain West knew they had them in a position where they were vulnerable and forced them to agree to the poaching fees; therefore, that should make it invalid. If that is the case, then does that also mean that the games scheduled next year or even the rest of this year are technically invalid and not enforceable to go through with if Mount West chooses not to play additional games? I know this would not happen but it seemed like the pack wants to pick and choose what part of the contracts they are obligated to. I don't know enough to know if they're right or wrong, but I do know it makes them look like they're trying to be scam artists.
I think its fun to have different looks at home games. However if you are trying to build a brand I think for road games and especially those televised you should pick a look and stay with it.
