When do we get a decision?
This is disrespectful to our current guys. Don't want to steal any of their thunder on the day of the game. Wouldn't mind an interview, but would still love to see someone who's already shown he can lead a program this time around. If he blows Mosley away, and can recruit basically a whole new roster, I wouldn't be mad. -

I've watched games but never really paid attention to the crowd. I looked at their attendance the past 3 years and it's pretty consistently between 9k and 15k. Very impressive for a mid-major. https://www.statista.com/statistics/219827/attendance-at-ncaa-mens-basketball-games/ Expand that attendance rankings list and you'll see New Mexico on there, above Texas Tech, Uconn, Memphis, Alabama, and Michigan. Very impressive. -

Their arena is what we should aspire for if/when we build a new arena. Fantastic facility. I watched us play there 3 days after the NM Bowl in 2018 (Rose went off. We won.). Their team was not very good at the time, and the place was still full/hostile, so yeah, they get plenty of community support.- 1

Honestly hard to say if they're on the same level with the recent Mountain West losses but UNM has shown they're willing to spend for basketball. They renovated their arena around 2009 at a reported cost of $60 million. I'd imagine they'd be willing to bump pay for Kennedy if he's the guy they want.- 1

James Miller
STILLWATER — It appears Steve Lutz has filled the top assistant coaching position on his Oklahoma State basketball staff. Mississippi State assistant James Miller is headed to Stillwater to be Lutz’s associate head coach, according to a report Tuesday from 247Sports.com. The move comes just five days after Lutz was officially announced as the Cowboys’ new head man. Regarded as an emerging talent and a strong recruiter, Miller held the same position for Chris Jans at Mississippi State last season, which was Miller’s second with the Bulldogs. Prior to that, Miller was Jans’ associate head coach for four seasons at New Mexico State. Miller has also worked for current Texas Tech coach Grant McCasland in stops at Arkansas State and North Texas. Miller spent a season at Omaha, following a six-year stint at New Mexico Junior College — the last three as head coach.
