The MWC's Revenue Splits

MWC looking at Texas State and Northern Illinois.....
I understand what it means. Our DFW market is considered valuable because of both the size of the market itself and the number or alumni that contribute to it. Very different situation than just NIU being semi close to Chicago. Also, if you think our attendance is bad, you should take a look at theirs. In 2017 they went 8-4 with their last home game drawing 8k. NIU is not a program AAC should pursue. -

Mountain West looking to add NIU/Toledo
I would be surprised if the MAC schools joins the MWC for football only ,but hey, who knows. However their inclusion in football only, identical to Hawaii, does not get the MWC to 8 all sports programs which is required by the NCAA to have a conference. In business you start out doing what what you want to do but sometimes end up doing what you have to do.UTEP and NMSU may be ugly but I bet they might look better at closing time. -

They were talking about him early today in San Antonio. The story I knew is he went to TJ in Dallas, while playing football missed an assignment and Coach Kirk called him "Meatloaf, let's do that again". He likes it and then we know the rest... -

Memphis, USF, UTSA, and Tulane all reject PAC-6, will remain in the AAC
Hawaii is lucky to get anything. They play in a high school stadium, their travel is subsidized by the MWC, and their partial membership doesn't count towards the 8 schools needed for conference recognition by the NCAA.
