Could this have been in the somewhat distant past? Those who have met him (as I have been fortunate to do) have the impression of him as being mellow, at least at this point in life. Of course, I do think he enjoys being in Denton, especially when things are going well with his Mean Green. Interesting that you mention having pictures taken with him; I remember thinking about how kind and patient he was with all the ladies lining up and asking to have their pictures taken with him (and no, these weren't the beautiful college aged females for which Denton is so famous).
