Unfortunately it wasn't good enough to beat UALR as they drilled SMU by 13. This Benford coached team may have the same record playing that schedule so it's really not saying much.

Really? A minus for posting a title and a link to an article relevant to a topic that was previously posted here? Sensitive much?

One of the first rules of the plus/minus system is complaining about minuses automatically will get you a minus from someone. So, when you post something that gets a minus, it's best to just take it, or you might get bombarded with them. Edited by CMJ

Really, the only way to guarantee +'s for your posts is to buy an aircraft and take aerial pictures of UNT related buildings. Kinda expensive, but if you're REALLY into +'s, it may just be worth it.

Good luck with Hofstra, four of there players were arrested a day before you play them, I am sure that will add to SMU's super awesome resume this season.

The death penalty is the best thing that ever happened to SMU, 2010s publicity-wise.

This article isn't written if SMU didn't cheat their ass off 25 years ago.

Kinda pathetic to live off a black mark on your program 25 years previous, but, hell, SMU managed to turn it into a Big East invite (you damn sure don't see Rice in the Big Least, do you?), so more power to them.

Even in an article about their BBall program, the Journal brings up their sorry, cheating legacy. That tells you everything you need to know.

GTFO I'd take a 7-1 start with a new coach and a super "bare cupboard" all day and tomorrow. Straight up hater lol

They don't have a bare cupboard, and their coach is much better than ours, but they have played nobody. They wouldn't beat Creighton, UVA or even UTA. Their OOC schedule makes JJ's look like the ACC.

Not sure this year has much to do w/resume. Brown is just finding the kids that are gonna stay. 4 man '13 class, at least, and 3 transfers on the bench. They look good moving forward, this years start is icing, sorta unexpected

Or to be hilarious.

I'm just sayin.
