Will miss Hot Springs but at least we get a last run this year with what should be a pretty good team (fingers crossed).

Of course this is projected on the news reports and not finalized but...

It sounds like CUSA bids it out every year and it has been in Memphis and El Paso. Mountain West does Vegas. They will have to keep it separate as an alliance until/if the merger is finalized. Any thoughts on a good place to have it in the schools basketball tourney? San Antonio jumps out as a great place to have it.

New Orleans, Dallas, or San Antonio.

Looking at the new map, any of those cities would work as a neutral site.

OKC wouldn't be a bad spot either

why not hot springs? didn't benson say he wanted to move the sbc tourney to biloxi or something like that? the town already knows how to host a tournament...it's close to most of the schools...wouldn't be a bad idea...

Small time.

Dallas, New Orleans, Houston, or San Antonio.

rotate between those cities and we will have strong representation at every one of them. Imagine hosting in Dallas and playing there? It might not be as nice of a turnout as what Memphis gets at FedEX during the CUSA tourney but it would be homecourt advantage for sure.

I don't see C-USA keeping its tourney exclusively in the west division's territory. They rotate for a reason.

But among the C-USA West institutions, those are all top candidates. With Memphis leaving, I don't really know what cities in the east would be decent candidates. I would figure with FIU coming in, that Miami could also be a candidate, even though it is a little remote.
