No not at all but you may need to go in and readd them.

Go to the very top right of the page and look for your username in the black section. Click the drop down and choose "my settings".

Once you get into your settings page go to the left and select "Signature" - you can add images etc there.

I try to add a photo and anything I put in the URL it says the URL is not valid. How can I add a photo? Am I doing something wrong?

It works, as I just used it in your post above. It might be an invalid picture or address. If you send me the address or URL via a PM I can check it out. Try another image address to see if that is the problem.
