The CUSA needs UNT more than UNT needs the CUSA. The CUSA is a hollow shell of what it once was as a conference. The candidate schools deserve a date certain for a decision. " UNT is very happy in the Sunbelt Conference and is very impressed by the new commissioner's efforts to re-brand and expand the SB conference." Why would we want to join the island of misfit toys lead by incompetent individuals, who after eight months, cannot even a decision on the basic structure of the conference.

Anyone notice the comments on the actual article. Why does UNT want to be in CUSA?

Because it pays more and will put us in a conference with closer, bigger name teams.
