Benford's first chore is to make sure that leading scorer Tony Mitchell stays with the Mean Green and doesn't leave for the NBA draft. The early-entry deadline is Sunday.

Somebody needs to take Tony on a week long tour of historical sites in the U.S. See all of them. At least until Monday morning.

Welcome abord Coach Benford.

:lol: That's all the BS I'm going to deliver on this hire. In all seriousness, welcome aboard Coach Benford! Hope that you end up calling Denton home for decades to come!

Regardless of his lack of HC experience, I really do love the guy's overall experience level. He has been associated with a lot of great programs, and I'm betting that he brings that winning attitude here to Denton. Nice hire RV.
