tough call

On one hand, you don't want to lose big early because you lose so many fans that are on the fence about the remainder of the season.

On the other hand, however, game 1 is always when those teams are ripe for upset.

Pit us against a powerhouse 3 games in and that's 3 games they have had to get in gear, "wake up", and pound the crap outta us.

That respect would come a whole lot easier if they proved something on the football field first, even if it's nothing more than the ability to compete with the lower echelon of 1-A ("FBS").

I'd have more respect for them if they'd mention that an old North Texas student, famed architect O'Neil Ford, designed their campus (as well as many other new and restored buildings in San Antonio.
