The Band
And here they are! The Green Brigade's competition for the bowl game. The Texas State Bobcat Band. 2024 Texas State Bobcat Marching Band pre-game show - Search Energetic and enthusiastic when it counts........when it's time to get the crowd excited and into the game. Lots of energy and NOT ONE tired old march (American Emblem) to the get band from one place to another on the field. But at least we are slow and deliberate about it. Texas State has about 200 instrument playing members. They get just as big a sound as our bloated 400+ band. -

Portal players leaving
That's what I have been told by those close to the situation. Regardless, I'm not sure I see Riley as a "darling of the program." At least on this board, I see a lot of mixed feelings about him. When I think of "darlings of the program," I think of players like Mason Fine, Brandon Kennedy, Johnny Quinn, Lance Dunbar, Patrick Cobbs. I can't think of a player who transferred out of North Texas who would be held by fans in comparable esteem. -

Of course they're not the same human being. My point was, just showing rings is a crappy approach to recruiting that is unlikely to be successful. That said, at this point coaches probably don't have to be recruiters anymore. As long as their schools' NIL collectives show up at recruits' homes with Brinks trucks, they'll do fine. -

Yes. The END GOAL for these kids (remember, the quote I replied to was regarding the 5* kids). He was there. Look at what Harbaugh was able to do at Michigan. Harbaugh took over a 5-7 team after his 49ers tenure, and brought in quite a few 4&5*s immediately.
