They live in a world where they aren't going to get Johnny Jones no matter which way they slice it. So they'll say whatever the hell they want and not live with any consequences.

This is the best thing for them to angle on so they can say, "Johnny went to LSU, but if he didn't, we'd have hired him."

I've not paid very close attention to the SMU search.... but if you take that job do you have to work with Robo Doh? I'm pretty sure they kept him when they fired Human Doh.

Doesn't the fact that the report yesterday they were going to talk to him and he said he has had no contact with them so far tell us that he obviously has not been campaining for that job.

One thing I hadn't considered... What if Robo Doh could be reprogramed to mimic their new hire? Having a robotic counterpart to assist in all your responsibilities could be a real selling point I'm not sure we could match.

You're ruining SMU's make believe tea party where robo doh and Teddy Ruxbin are having brunch with Johnny Jones to hear his "campaign" to return SMU basketball to their rightful place in the Final Four.

That's what rivals.com said a while back - got an issue with the story, take it up with them. He showed interest, not sure about "campaigned for the job"- that seems to have a different connotation than saying "showed interest."
