On the basketball front, Shawn Forrest did interview at Kansas State.

We could find out pretty quickly if he ends up in Manhattan.

Johnny Jones is also in the midst of talks with LSU. Forrest could follow Jones to Baton Rouge.

Either way, it looks like UNT could end up losing one of the key figures who has helped the Mean Green rise to prominence the past few seasons. Forrest helped foster UNT's pipeline to DFW with Tony Mitchell, Chris Jones and Jordan Williams.

There is a reason Bruce Weber is interesting in bringing him to Kansas State.
