Chris Plonsky ties her Horns hiring cred into fate of Aston's succ

Aston clearly means business. "She's very straightforward and very intense," returning forward Anne Marie Hartung said. "She told us she expects us to take both sessions of summer school and said we really don't have a choice. I like that."

Hartung may not like everything that Aston will implement, but Aston's not here to be popular.

It's likely Aston will bring two North Texas assistants with her and hire a third with UT ties. She'll have Akers' intensity, but with McWilliams' down-homeness.

But make no mistake. Aston's here to win. She'd better, for her sake as well as Plonsky's.

I would assume Angela goes and probably Jalie. I thought I read Vito (or somebody) saying that they saw Wesley Brooks hanging around UNT the same day Coach KA was having her introductory presser at UT, so he apparently ain't going. I think it's unlikely that anyone stays, unless they happen to have ties with the new coach, kinda like Mike Nelson and Mike Canales did with Coach Mac.
