Hahahahahahaha

Now that is the funniest thing I have seen posted in relation to this event.

So, you either are a member of the law enforcement investigative team, or they run everything by you, OR you consider media reports and 911 tapes complete evidence in a shooting investigation.

Or you are pejudiced (again, by the very definition of the word) against Zimmerman.

Or I can piece together everything I've read and draw my own conclusions. But because I disagree with your view that can only mean I'm prejudice or stupid. Got it.

EDIT: and by evidence I mean enough for an arrest and a charge. I can't say one way or the other if Zimmerman is clearly guilty of a crime.

I just wanted to point out that the law states "He or she reasonably believes that such force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the imminent commission of a forcible felony" and in this case I cannot see how getting your ass whooped constitutes "imminent death" or "great bodily harm". With that said.... he needs to be arrested and put on bail (50k) awaiting trial EXACTLY like Trevor Dooley was arrested for when he shot David James in front of his daughter.

Much like the Zimmerman case the witnesses can't seem to determine who was in the wrong but what we know if that the simple fact that a gun was involved that someone died. WE honestly don't know if Zimmerman pulled that gun out or if when they started going at it whether or not it feel out and they wrestled for it (escalating it further). Same situation with Dooley in that he flashed a piece that didn't need to be there....there was a confrontation and someone was shot.

If you decide to keep the law intact then you better be very careful about who gets arrested and how doesn't since both of these cases seem so identical and just flat out didn't need to happen.

Just caught a kid with a hoodie a couple nights back who was lifting handles on mine and my roommate's car. I walked outside and said "ever heard the name Trayvon??? Not very smart of you..." then walked back in and called the cops. He then shouted names at me because he felt fronted. 100% proof that he was lifting handles and using his flashlight app to look in my car (in my driveway). BTW....the kid was white and looked like a 5'2 wannabe gangbanger. Shoulda smoked that fool.....but I only have a hiking stick :sword:

Seriously? Someone was looking into your car in your driveway and they didn't get "reminded" that that's not a good idea?

So what you are saying is that without viewing ANY of the actual evidence, you believe that probable cause exists for an arrest?

And for the record, I have always said WE DON'T KNOW what happened, but there is probably a pretty good reason why, with all this media pressure, an arrest has yet to be made. Evidence that we are not privy to, because the police do not try cases in the media.

But accepting that and waiting for a grand jury to review the evidence and see if an indictment is warranted isn't enough for many on here, you included.

The special posecutor has had the case for 3 weeks now, and no arrest. It's either a huge conspiracy or the police have evidence that support Zimmerman's account of events.

Could a grand jury still indict? Absolutely. But you know what? They will get to see ALL the evidence, not just blatantly faked media reports and bad forensic science from a source not even consulted by the people running the investigation (can you say agenda?). my point has always been let's wait and see what the grand jury decides.

See, I'm not prejudging.

Special Prosecutor will not present case to grand jury, deciding on if and what to charge Zimmerman with herself. Apparently you can do this in Florida (in Texas, every felony case is presented to a grand jury for a decision to indict or not), at least according to the news media (who have proven that they will rarely get anything right in this case).

This is not good news for justice, no matter what you feel about this case. Instead of having anonymous fellow citizens review the case free of media pressure, the special prosecutor has decided to put all the media scrutiny squarely on her shoulders. A special prosecutor who was a political appointment by the governor who wants something, anything done.

I'd be shocked if Zimmerman isn't arrested in the next several weeks, whether he is guilty of a crime or not.

Note to the special prosecutor. You may delay riots in the streets if you arrest Zimmerman now, but it's only a delay if you can't convict him.

Hope the one person that is now in charge of making this decision does what she feels is right and does it for the right reasons, whatever her decision may be.

Really doubt that happens, unfortunately.

Well, unfortunately, IF he is guilty of anything, and he is charged, once it goes before a judge, there is a case for it to get thrown out due to the many political figures chiming in.

Yup... I agree with this statement 100%.

Zimmerman arrested

This really reaks of political motivation. Hope it isn't. Why would you not put this in front of a grand jury unless you were afraid they would not indict, especially when another prosecutor did not feel there was enough to arrest?

Interesting times ahead.

Not likely.

It is the search for justice for Trayvon that has brought us to this moment, Corey said.

Eric Holder Praises Left-Wing Activist Al Sharpton, Says Facts, Law Will Guide Trayvon Martin Investigation

the attorney general first thanked MSNBC’s Rev. Sharpton “for your partnership, your friendship, and your tireless efforts to speak out for the voiceless, to stand up for the powerless, and to shine a light on the problems we must solve, and the promises we must fulfill.”

My prediction for the aftermath of this case:

Angela Corey will write a book, make the talk show circuit, maybe run for a higher political office.

The judge, whoever he/she may be, will write a book, make the talk show circuit, and run for a higher political office.

The defense attorney will write a book, make the talk show circuit, and increase his per hour fee exponentially.

The media will race bait us all into a frenzy, no matter what the evidence shows.

Justice?... meh.

And Zimmerman will die, be it in prison or as a free man.
