Especially if UTSA leaves us behind, too. Texas State would be the natural program to backfill with but if that somehow doesn't happen, that leaves us with Rice and Tulsa as our closest regional rivals. However, it would be hilarious if those teams do bolt and no lucrative media deal comes to fruition for the PAC. -

Sell Out Next Week?
I wouldn't doubt it at all. My first job out of college was ticket sales manager for the Dallas Rattlers, the Major League Lacrosse team that played two seasons at The Star in Frisco. The Cowboys were supposed to be "partners" and our first home game back in 2018 was the only game we opened up ticket sales to both sides of the stadium in hopes of filling it. The Cowboys took hundreds of tickets they were supposed to distribute - to partners, season ticket holders, etc. Come gameday that huge stack was just laying on the counter in the box office. -

UTSA and Traylor likely heading to Pac12
One reason given be one pod caster that UTSA is preferred over UNT is that while their football program has been trending up ours has not. With UNT you get what you get. -

PAC is back
The race to be a part of P4 takes priority right now, even at the expense of fan travel and interests. Sucks to be a traveling fan, or want to watch a game on TV that is well out of your time zone. Athletic departments around the country want to be on prime tv as much as possible. Big time championships, money, and media exposure all intersect.- 2
