Some interesting stats in here for sure... as in:

The Stock vs. Phillips stat battle. The stats are clearly in Stock's favor but I understand that it is Phillips who has the starting role heading into spring.

Our 1st quarter stats are the weakest with us being 104th best team in the 1st quarter but our 3rd quarter stats place us at the 43rd best team in the 3rd quarter (locker room speeches and adjustments).

The only issue I have with stats are they don't take into account opponent strength and game situations. Minimac gets beaten down for some of his stats last year but look at the games he had to play in and the opponents he had to play against. The same could be said for any players stats who mainly played in the non-conference slate as opposed to the conference games last season.
