Doubleheader this Saturday: UNT FB at 9am GMG BBall tips at 11:30am

For you football fans who are coming to view the UNT practice this Saturday at 9am, please plan on stopping by the GMG Classic2 BBall event being held after at the UNT Volleyball gym - tip-off is at 11:30am (doors open at 10am). The event is in support of UNT Cheer and there will be some very cool items you can bid on, many cheerleaders to meet and watch, some special guests, a halfcourt contest, concessions so you can cool off after sitting in the sun all day...and last and least -- some very slow and overweight middle age guys that you can laugh at on the court! If you're planning on attending the scrimmage please consider stopping by for the second half of this Saturday's double header! GMG!

TIME: Doors open at 10:00 am.....Tip off at 11:30 am

GREAT IDEA, HARRY! Should be a great day for the Mean Green nation. I encourage everyone to have a great day enjoying these two great events...and, also remember that our UNT softball team is playing at home Saturday as well...could be a full MEAN GREEN DAY!!!!

Is tennis at home Saturday as well? Golf?

Just want everyone to know that we should tip-off NO LATER THAN 11:30AM...could come as early as 11:00AM if everything is set and ready to go. Doors open for warm-up, registration and set up at 10:00am...hope to see a good crowd there to cheer on out warriors who are playing, the Cheer Squad and all the donors and sponsors..

There will be a half-court shot event at half-time too...and you do not have to be a registered player to participate in this event at half-time...come one come all......

No admission fee to watch and have some great fun...all are welcome to attend the after event gathering at Metzler's BBQ on Londonderry Lane in Denton as well after the game...Silent Auction Bidding will conclude at Metzler's with "last chance bidding".......

It really will be a fun time...come out, Support the Cheer Squad and have some fun with some great Mean Green Nation families!
