Sorry, but the NIT does a terrible job promoting the tournament, ESPN doesn’t care as they just use it as a vehicle to talk about the NCAA’s during halftime and they switch it from channel to channel within the ESPN family to accommodate some story on a BBQ joint in backwoods Alabama. Because of this, the only people aware of the games are the fans of the respective schools.
It is good to dominate the teams we should blow out.
The bad news is that in our remaining four conference series, we play the other three teams in the Top 4 of the standings. The only outlier is 8th place UAB, who is still a respectable 6-9, AND swept us in Birmingham last year.
It’s leaves from a pier (not being smart. There are a lot of piers in NYC). And it was fun. When we took it, it was cold and rainy. We had to stay inside there and back. But a great trip regardless.
