Along with that, Cooper will focus on recruiting -- for both sports. The 6-foot, 160-pound junior is being viewed as both a quarterback and an athlete on the football field, but he also is getting looks as a guard on the basketball court.

Cooper has garnered interest from schools in both sports, and he is hoping to attract more -- and get his first offer -- in time for his senior season. Cooper has received correspondence from Texas A&M, North Texas, Purdue and Georgetown in football. He has looks from Texas Tech, North Texas, Wichita State, Maryland, Missouri State and Lehigh in basketball.

I bet he goes with theatrical heavy metal and golf and does very well. I think we have a shot if he goes this route with our music scene /school and improving golf program.
