I noticed on the box score that Arkansas State shot 38 free throws vs 9 for FAU. South Alabama shot 36 free throws vs 19 for Troy. Those numbers give me some concern.

Troy doesn't get fouled because they don't bring the ball within the 3 point line.

Free Throw disparity is not at all indicative of poor officiating. You can't look at a box score and determine if the officials are poor. Aggressive teams are going to shoot a lot of free throws and jumpshooting teams are not. I'm not saying these officials were good, because I didn't watch the games, but I am saying that you cannot make that judgment unless you see the games for yourself.

FAU was getting killied inside and on the boards. I think this had more to do with the free three disparity in that game.
