Is this a bit, or do you really think they would announce a concert at the spring game and then not have one?

Who announced one?

Let's stop this lie. This has nothing to do with band or genre of music.

There is not going to be a concert for the spring game.

1. We've never done this before.

2. We don't need to do it now. Why waste money driving up attendance for something that doesn't matter.

3. It ain't on anybody schedule not UNT's not the bands. What does surprise marketing get anyone.

Spring game is set for APRIL 21st at Apogee! Last I heard at either 1PM or 2PM. Be there!

PS: I like these guys...they have some pretty good stuff out and should make for a good after game concert....yes, I'm one of the "older guys" who like Reckless Kelly. A "different" kind of country, so don't blow them off saying "I don't like country". Give it a shot...you might find you like these guys. See you at Apogee for the game and concert and perhaps some additional entertainment.

I was wrong.

But I question the move. Why invest in a game where attendance doesn't matter?

Why not save something like this for the regular season?
