Things to do in Hot Springs?

There is a very small gangster muesum not too far from the convention center

The Gangster Museum is a bit low budget (for example they display a gun made in the 1980's next to artifacts from the 1930's). But it is interesting to hear about the influence of organized crime in Hot Springs that lasted through the 1970's. Last year you could get a discount off of admission if you showed your ticket stub to the tourney.

You're better off going to the tower and reading the displays around the observation floor. The museum was expanding when we went a few years ago, but it's still one of those things where you walk out laughing to yourself when you leave.

Sir, you are in for a treat!

First, I'd visit Tiny Town Trains

If you can still handle the excitement, then Ride a Duck would be next.

Finally, no visit to Hot Springs would be complete without a visit to the I.Q. Zoo

I'm about to poop in my pants just thinking about it!

The mountain tower is a pretty cool way to kill an hour.

Did that last summer on a warm June day as we were fighting the rain. Low clouds rolled in about 15 minutes after we got up there, it was a cool sight. Went outside to basically walk in a cloud & with the wind it was 20 degrees cooler than on the ground that day.

Hot Springs has an aquarium but its more like an oversized pet store. It is cheap though. The Mid-America Science Museum is decent too.
