Plenty of people have pointed out that while JJ is not without flaw (aka human), he did not lose the game.

Not only do I find it strange to call out a poster who has not posted for the past month in this forum, but I also find it odd that it's a poster whose flaw is that he gets/got excited about the possibility that UNT has been or might be good at something. Oh, and he's put together a nice little recruiting board to keep up with the guys that we're interested in and have interest in the U of NT.

I know some folks here won't be happy until we're winning national championships... but while there are likely no fans (or players, for that matter) happy with how the 2nd half of the season is going, some fans try to find happiness in less ambitious, and more realistic accomplishments. I don't think they should be chided for it.

+1, and it's hard to believe the premise of this thread, to suggest that loss as due to poor coaching, unless the coaches somehow caused individual players to forget how to shoot free throws. Yeah, maybe there should be more time spent on that aspect of the game, but players should be practicing free throws with their younger family members and the neighborhood kids or whenever they get the chance. Still, nobody has explained the kind of lapse we saw Saturday. My analysis: don't spend much time analyzing the last game.

obligatory crap:

Good coaches lose games.

Bad coaches win games.

JJ-lovers are not saying he is the greatest coach ever.

JJ-haters are not saying he is our worst coach ever.

I'm really digging this apple-cinnamon instant oatmeal.
