More on Villarreal's new contract

Turns out, UNT is still finishing up the final details of Rick Villarreal's new deal.

The final contract is supposed to be available either today or early next week.

Lane Rawlins did provide a little more information on what the deal will look like, though, after the board of regents approved the basics.

There are not supposed to be many dramatic changes in the new contract, compared with the one he signed back in 2010.

This just extends Villarreal back out to five years.
