The progress this athletic department has made in the last decade has been remarkable. We now have the facilities and the funding to compete at this level. We have done so much more right than we have done wrong. We don't have a BS plan to "sell" anymore - we have facilities (not just the App) and $$$ and are lucky enough to have a great market on our side. The difficult part is that we haven't been doing what we currently are doing near long enough. RV has not been perfect but he sure as hell has been the savior of UNT athletics. He has addressed and solved the biggest issue UNT has had - committment from our institution. The great part is we are never going back to the days of doing it on the cheap.

Yes, but although I think we have made progress with the student body as far as participation and support we have never ever been able to tap into the Denton market and surrounding areas. Why?
