The bobsled is one of my favorite Winter Olympic sports. Several years ago, I got to go to Calgary, and did a quick sightsee of the Olympic Park there. Got to see the bobsled course that JQ was running there. It is quite impressive to stand at the start and look down over the course and see what they are driving down, and to imagine travelling at the speeds they reach.

Now if you want to see insanty, look down the ski jump slopes. My dad and I walked to the edge of the "cliff" that runs behind the ski jump slopes, and you can look down and see exactly what the athlete sees. We were looking down from halfway up the middle of the three ramps. We took one look and said, "Oh hell no."

Winter olympic atheletes are top notch atheletes, I don't give a frick what Bryant Gumble says. Im glad JQ, Cory, and the rest of the crew is ok.

Last time I saw a bobsled crash like that was in the movie "Cool Running". Sledder's heads wedged against the wall. Glad JQ and his teammates are O.K.
