Thin air can make any mediocre team look good if they are the home team and make good teams look bad if they are visiting. I'm glad Denver is leaving...too much of a home court advantage for the Pioneers. In real air they are average.

i think the thin air advantage is pretty sad...otherwise, all mountain teams would be unbeatable at home, in all sports...and we all know that isn't true. denver won because they played better and executed better...simple as that.

I swear some people around here have only experienced a race to the Wal Mart beer isle at a sea-level store.

Altitude plays a factor. Does it make teams unbeatable? No, but it can be difficult to adjust to.

Denver is tough, and their offense is especially tough to come back on.

At least UNT beat Denver without CJ and JW, then we almost beat MTSU!!! Hot Springs is going to be fun and I full well expect UNT to win SBC tournament and go dancing. Maybe the Sunbelt won't be a 1 bid league this year.

I have just moved to Denver and have tickets for the Denver University game. Are there any others alums in the area that I can meet with at the game?
