Wallace, Tucker and Rollins all committed to North Texas last summer before making it official on Wednesday.

“It’s always good when you go to a big university to see a familiar face,” Wallace said. “That’s one thing that really sealed the deal for me. I’ve played with these guys for a couple of years and can’t wait to play with them for four more years.”

Another selling point was North Texas’ brand-new, state-of-the-art Apogee Stadium, which opened last fall.

“I love their stadium, man. It’s awesome,” Rollins said. “But it’s not just about the stadium. It’s the coaches, the academics, being able to live while you’re up there.”

Sitton said Tucker will be grayshirted and will not enroll at UNT until January of 2013.

Henderson and Kincade brought an extra-wide smile to Sitton’s face when the duo signed with Stephen F. Austin, the coach’s alma mater.

“It’s a very special day for me because as a kid growing up all I wanted to do was play football,” Kincade said. “Now I’m living my dream out, getting to play football for the next four years.”
