Center Boone Feldt has been drawing some raves for his handling of the Team USA offense heading into the International Bowl tonight.

Team USA assistant coach L.D. Williams, the former head coach at Austin High, was complimentary of the Hays High senior on Tuesday.

"They broke out of the huddle in practice and everyone didn't break right on time,'' Williams said. "He made them do it over again. That kid is one of the best leaders I've seen here. It's good to see that type of leadership coming from a center in the huddle."

Feldt, a three-time all-state selection, is expected to sign with North Texas today. He has spent most of Team USA's practices blocking University of Texas-bound defensive tackle Malcom Brown.
