ok so maybe i am stretching the truth a little...but these games are BIG.

im excited that my first two games in the pit this season will be this double header.

Womens game: our team is much improved, i give us a 5% shot of winning, just cause we are at home. while i think we give a great effort, i just dont see us pulling it out. but i hope we do!

Mens game: i think we have about a 30% just because of t-mitch and being in the pit, give me a healthy holmen and i would say 35%. If we had williams and jones i woulda said 60% I really really hope we pull it out, but wont be crushed if we dont. i think its a close game.

what is everyone's opinion of the games tomorrow?

Not sure If I should state my exact opinion... obviously I want a win, but it would not hurt to have Middle win out before we beat them in the finals of the sunbelt tourney! It would be nice to see the belt get two bids again.

I will be cheering my arse off for UNT but either way its a good thing for our conference and when Tony, CJ, and Williams come back next year they wont know what hit them! (hopefully we will be in a new conference soon)

Heres what MT is saying:

• With MT’s 71-66 win over FIU on Dec. 29, head coach Kermit Davis surpassed Jimmy Earle as MT’s all-time

winningest coach. It marked Davis’ 165th MT victory, eclipsing Earle’s mark of 164.

• MT’s men’s and women’s basketball teams are both undefeated in conference play, joining Kentucky as the

only two programs in the nation to boast the accomplishment.

• MT’s 20-2 start was the best in program history, topping the previous mark of 18-2 in the 1974-75 season.

• MT is 9-0 to start league play for the first time in 37 years. The mark matches the best league start in pro-

gram history, set in the 1974-75 season when the Blue Raiders were a member of the OVC.

• MT’s 12-game winning streak from Dec. 10 through Jan. 26 was the longest in 26 years and is tied for the

third-longest in school history.

• MT has won 16 games by a double-figure margin, including eight of the last nine contests.

• As of the NCAA statistics on Jan. 29, MT ranks seventh in the nation in field goal percentage (49.5). MT also

ranks 15th in field goal percentage defense (38.4). The Blue Raiders ranked in the top three in field goal

percentage for six consecutive weeks to open the season.

• MT is one of only eight teams in the nation to crack the 20-win mark already this season, currently tied for

the third-most victories in the nation.

• MT’s eight road wins this season are tied for the third-most in the country as of Jan. 29. The Blue Raiders also

lead the Sun Belt with 44 league road victories in the past 10 years.

• MT set a school-record with a 71.4 shooting percentage at UCLA on Nov. 15. The Blue Raiders shot 70.8

percent in the first half and 72 percent in the second half of the contest.

Should be a Great Game!
