Anyone consider that they may have medical reasons to grayshirt? Need of surgery or rehabbing from surgery?

I have been suspecting there may be a variety of reasons a player may/may not want to grayshirt/redshirt, family problems requiring their presence back home, not ready to leave girlfriend/best friend just yet, or possible medical issues you mention. We may not need or even want to know all the background.

My question is if these kids can wrok out with the team? I am assuming they won't be able to since they won't be enrolled until the spring...

According to the paper , the kid from Tyler will stay in Tyler and work the first semester. So he won't be working out.
