Why I don't get Jerod Evans tripping to Memphis

Memphis has two high school QB verbals and supposedly another in transfer Jacob Karam from Texas Tech. Three QB's in this class when he would be the guy in ours? Je'rod's best chance at PT is in Denton.

With former TCU assistant Fuente and DD there now I expect they will be hitting DFW hard in future years.

No I get the free trip part but don't see why they are looking for a 4th QB in one signing class?? The QB's on their current roster must be feeling a little down.

TCU has always got 2-3 QBs in their class each year. Most of the time they move positions. Im sure this is the same case.

I'm hoping this was just him taking advantage of a free trip. He stated it was a 2 horse race between UNT & AFA, I'm hoping that's still true. Crossing fingers & toes!!!

I would like to sign one, but I don't see it as devastating if we don't. We have Thompson with two years remaining, Osborn with two years remaining and McNulty with 3 years remaining and a redshirt if needed, plus Jones with four years of eligibility. Something tells me Jones won't be switching positions.
