Update on Walling -- he is no longer on the SMU roster as of last spring. Ponyfans saying he had "work ethic" issues...

Just find it interesting that this guy got us so up in arms when he decommitted and went with SMU.

Again -- the recruiting services just can't measure heart or desire... if someone could measure that I would bet subscriptions would go through the roof.

Harry, if you will remember, the coaches were very geeked up about the kid, also. Mac even commented on him without using his name, ,saying it was a big night for the program when he committed.

Doesn't hurt my feelings at all that he washed out.

Plus you have to wonder how dedicated June Jones really is. I don't know how anyone could be an FBS coach AND devote as much time as he does to his inner city ministry.
