2013 HS - Keith Frazier - 6'5" SG

Recommended Posts

Totally missed ths segment on the ticket & tv ... Is Frazier the player in question ? I thought it was Shannon Lilly ? Or both ?

Mike is a proud Kimball grad lest it probably wouldn't have been a talking point..but Frazier's move from Irving was what was being discussed.

Don't care much for the transfers for sports that are now common place. I didn't like the rule in the stone age when you lost a year eligibility, no matter what; but the current abuses make you wonder if it is not the best answer.

All that aside, I hope Benford is recruiting Frazier as hard as he can.

Keith Frazier is a better pro prospect than Tony Mitchell right now. Will not be the better college player but his game is better suited for the NBA. At 6-5, he can shoot with the best of them but does not have Mitchell's versatility or athleticism. Ridicules NBA range beyond 3 pt range.

That's just it 90. We may not be at the point (yet) where we are the #1 choice for these kids...but we're damn sure the best option if/when they get homesick wherever they are. Laying the groundwork early has paid dividends for us over and over again in the last half decade or so.

Kinda my point. Just didn't state it very well.

Anyone else thinking about what a lost opportunity this year was?

Bite your tongue!!

This is not a lost opportunity, this is an opportunity to find JC players that no one has ever heard of to rescue this program from the almost criminal players to which JJ never taught values that had multiple offers from schools people had actually heard of before.

That's has got to be better than what Benford inherited, right?

Yes! While I'm no fan of seeing Tech's good fortune...I'm a big fan of any kid telling SMU "no".

And HoopManX tells us SMU had already pulled the offer in 3...2...1...
