I may be high but you gotta figure that Arnett and Stevenson are the only two Cleveland State guys that see big minutes next season. Both look like AAC calibre players to me. Especially current AAC that’s been decimated by the portal. I do think there’s something to be said for having a nucleus coming with Coach Robinson that he can trust to instill his team culture, system, and have played together before. In this day and age, even a level of imported roster continuity is bound to be a good thing. Like the UTEP kid we picked up. And as you said, still plenty of time to add more significant pieces - like we did last year. Plenty of great talent out there looking for a home. -

Win the series this weekend and we might be in as an at-large for the NCAA tourney. The latest D1softball.com bracketology article starts by saying a conference is up to 3 bids. I don't subscribe so I had to go to an OU forum where a poster put the full bracket predictions per D1 Softball. We're slotted in OU's bracket: NORMAN DURHAM 1. Oklahoma (5) 1. Duke (12) 4. Army* 4. Very underwhelming at this point, and I doubt it gets better. Obviously, I hope it improves; but I can't believe some of the players that he has been reported to be recruiting. Based on stats, they should not be close to a AAC roster.- 3
