Watching Mr. Hall play very well and hustle all over the court today. He has been hammered twice. The first one was on a breakaway and it looked like he was going to dunk it, and I was thinking no way, but he was murdered before the attempt. The second time was another break away an he did attempt to dunk it got hammered and made the dunk. It was pretty awesome. GMG!

Who was bashing Tyler Hall?

There are no partial scholarships in basketball.

Well he did play in division one and division two so maybe it was just before he transferred out. Though I have still heard of books being covered etc.. at another Texas institution.

D1 basketball is full or nothing. D2 can do partials like D1 baseball does.

Sometimes I wonder if you read the same board I do.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone bash Tyler Hall on this board. Ever.

Tyler is a nice WALK ON. It's not like JJ has been hiding this secret weapon on the bench. If he plays significant minutes, this thing is doomed.

Keep in mind this was a freaking NAIA school, will you?

I am not saying he is a top 5 player... but the boy can contribute! That's a fact. There was a time where he had offers from other D1 schools but decided to stay here to pursue acting. He is a pure athlete. He does not always make the right decision on the floor but works hard off off it. The definition of a hustler

Tyler should get his opportunity now, as the guard rotation is so thin. He played well today, by all reports, and he should get a chance to prove himself against Denver, but it's a little to soon to treat him as a D1 ballel....

Tyler and Forrest both looked good today – they both have a shooters touch inside and out – rumor at the pit today was that both our ineligible players did not pass 6 hours – this is some what good because the 6 hours can easily be made up during the summer.

that is... but 2 classes.... man its still unbelievable

Celebrating a 3 before it didn't go in, when he could have ran down the clock on a game we had all wrapped up; and going for some showy layup he missed- in the same game with time left on the clock when we were up big.

I'm not afraid to admit that I'm not the biggest hall fan. Having said that....

If his play picks up, and he turns into the coach on the floor like you say, and he continues the gritty play that I heard on the radio yesterday- I'll eat some crow on it at the end of the season.

Not going to bash him anymore since we need him, and his play seems to be garnering lots of compliments. Just want to make it known that I was a Hall-Basher, and I'm willing to be converted.

      That was the start of three terrible calls from the officials. Don’t forget the PI that wasn’t to extend that next drive. Then the fumble that got stolen. Pretty clear who the conference wanted to win that game. Still, the game was there for us to take and the failures in the red zone are 100% within our control.

      From my view of the second INT in the North end zone, it appeared there were two receivers running towards the left sideline. Morris threw to the trailing receiver. The receiver closer to the sideline was (wide?) open. GMG

      I’m surprised there hasn’t been much talk on here about this play. Not sure how many of you watched the game on TV, but I did. Watching the replay, I have no idea how the review refs could not see the ball break the plane before his knee went down. It looked pretty clear to me. A 10-7 lead there would have made a huge difference in the game. I know we all felt extremely confident in our offense scoring there (2nd & goal from the 1/4-yd line), but it didn’t happen, for whatever reasons. Massive miss there. Also the INT that was overturned by replay… another miss, even though we wound up forcing the punt. All that said, the game was decided on the 2 INTs Morris threw in the end zone. He simply can’t throw those.
