Got a flat today... anybody got any recommendations for a good place to get it fixed in Denton? looks like it could be fixed up with a patch job, and I'd sure like to have someone check it out before I spend way too much on a new tire

I read it as "Fat Tire", and thought this was another beer thread. :beerhat:

Have you found or seen the nail/screw/whatever has punctured the tire? Sometimes you need to air it back up and spray it down with a soapy water mixture to find your leak. Once found the hole is usually easily plugged with a $5 kit from any parts store or Walmart. It's a 5 minute job and a skill that will save you countless dollars down the road.

Or, you can take it to discount tire where they patch for free.

Depends on how much you value your time. If you don't mind waiting an hour and resisting their urgings to replace the tire then its a great deal.

Sounds like a girly solution to me though... you're not girly are you?

Everything work out alright on the tire deal? Flats are always such a pain. Not a Ray situation or anything if course but I have to admit I've been a little concerned for you.

yeah... i just went early this morning when they opened, and resisted the guys early suggestion for a replacement... not only did they patch it up, but they put the spare back on too in about twenty minutes... can't lie, it was very easy... and free
