Kansas: As we told you yesterday Clint Bowen is confirmed to Kansas. We were told by a source close to the situation that he would serve as defensive coordinator. This morning we saw a report that he would coach defensive backs and special teams. Will confirm the responsibilities soon enough; but Clint is a Jayhawk once again.

He was officially announced as special team coordinator and will be a defensive position coach (that will be determined once the DC is hired).

Bowen not only previously coached at KU and played there, he grew up in Lawrence. I think this was a chance for him to go home. I don't think it was a money issue or that he was unhappy at UNT.
