A center hanging video board is desperately needed. Anything less would be amatuer. And lets get the floor seating situation repaired as well.

Not having a center court hanging score/video board is amateur? I agree having a hanging score/video board will be nice, but I don't see it as a requirement.

Also, what's wrong with the floor seats?

A large hanging scoreboard suspended from the roof. Even if it comes at the cost of stuctural stability. I'm a Vikings fan, so I'm familiar with the roof collapsing.

Also, more dancers is a +

Better floor seating is a +

But that pep band.. Ugh. They need to have a more fanfare-esque performance. Seriously, change the way they do everything! And why are they always wearing blue jeans? We need to get them some spats, and green zoot suits. Like a REAL pep band would wear... You know, since we're talking upgrades.

Where should I send a check?

Well, that's an interesting question since the Athletic Dept. does not own or control the Super Pit. Strange as it seems that is the case and is a bit of a bone of contention these days....

But, I am sure someone can tell us....get out that pen and start writing! This looks like a good thing as just a little updating would really help the Super Pit as it remains a really great place to watch basketball.

Maybe if we let the students play video games on the new boards after they are installed before the game and at halftime we can get more to show up! Just sayin......

New boards must be lighter. When I was at KU they said same thing. But now KU has center hung video board. My new TV weighs 50% of what my old TV weighs. Assume same would be true of video boards.

That's what I'm thinking. Look at the big board at Apogee. Basically a "skeleton" with the video panels attached. The new technology is making everything lighter.

Im not buying the structural innability excuse for one moment. The Super Pit's roof was more than likely over built as would be expected to hold against structural strain due to time and gravity, weather of all kinds, and it had a center board for many many years up and until a few years back. So there should be no reason it cant happen again.

And I believe all facilities fall under the same director of facilities for the university(Charles Jackson). If there's a need for improvements for the Super Pit for all uses, and there is, it can and will be done. But someone has to request for it to be done and it has to be in the budget before hand. That may have already happened? It may not?

It would be interesting to find out what, if anything is in the future budget plans?

Ya it would be awesome to see people walk across the stage during graduation instead of a blurry figure wiz by. Or when we have speakers be able to hear them.

Look at this guy with the serious feedback!

But seriously.. What a plus that would be at graduation.
