Chris Davis draft profile

A good list of his accomplishments and a picture. I know it's a longshot for him to get drafted, but it's cool he has a draft profile and maybe he can catch on as a free agent or make an NBDL team if he doesn't get drafted.

With only 2 rounds he probably won't be drafted. I think he has a good chance to play in Europe or the NBDL though.

BTW, the draft only being 2 rounds is a crock. When I was a kid their used to be like 6...and their were fewer teams back then.

The first NBA draft took place in1947. The 50 draft was 10 rounds for some teams and 12 for others. The 1951 draft was 12 rounds.

The draft was 10 round as late 1984. The NBA Draft was 7 rounds until 1987, when a new Collective Bargaining Agreement between the NBA and the Players Association reduced the college draft to three rounds in 1988 and two rounds in 1989. It has remained that way since.

It's only been 2 rounds since '89? Man I coulda sworn it changed it in mid 90's! I knew there were more rounds when I was a kid, but I didn't realize it was THAT long ago.

I have heard that the Rockets are talking to Chris Davis about a summer league deal, and the Mavs have a workout/meeting scheduled with him soon.

I'm still convinced that if he doesn't catch on here...he'll play overseas for a few years.
