look where we are on this list and the group we are in....

#316 in the nation. Also, second chance points is not impressive when you have more chances at second chances (poor shooting percentage). We would probably be ranked lower than 316 in 3 point percentage. That would be an interesting stat to see.

This team has some things it needs to figure out if it hopes to be successful in conference play.

What about a way of getting Trey Norris off the ball for stretches? I mean, 36% isn't special from 3, but it leads this team presently. Maybe see if he can't knock down a few more in spots if he wasn't exclusively on the ball while he's on the floor. Not sure how you'd do it, really...CJ will need a rest and while Alzee is capable at the 1, he's been great focusing exclusively at playing the 2. Walton on the ball seems like a bad idea. Maybe a sub pattern of Norris for Jones then Jones for Alzee?

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like this team has an outside threat. I'm fine with Norris getting more minutes, but not necessarily to shoot the 3. I'd like to see us play faster with him at the point and CJ more as a slashing 2. Our top 3 guards are CJ, Alzee, Norris in that order. So i'd be fine with Jordan's not used minutes being distributed between those 3 and Franklin moving out to the 3.

Looking to Norris for answers is just pure desperation (not that UNT isn't at that point). He really hasn't done enough to earn the extra playing time or to be counted on to hit the outside shot.
