I am starting with the assumption NT has 25 ships to offer...if more or less just add or substract to my list:

25 available

(2) 4* transfers

23 (_11 3* commits_

(11)

12 left

-8 commitments not ranked

that leaves 4 left

I can't remember when we have 13 out of 25 commitments that rank 3 and 4 *

People have to remember that this doesn't include any gray shirts, possible college transfers, and invited walk-ons....though I suspect that most of those would end up being skill position players, since most of the defensive line talent is already well scouted and recruited.

And , I would assume that there will be some current players that will give up football or transfer to other schools.

Assuming that the 23 figure is correct then I must be missing one because I show five scholarships left. Here are the eighteen that I have so far...

Dustin Clark, Davante Davis, Malik Dilonga, Boone Feldt, Christian Hines, Brad Horton, Xavier Kelly, Royce LaFrance, Rod Lancaster, Mark Lewis, Dylan McDorman, Sam Rice, Jarrian Roberts, Rex Rollins, Nick Schrapps, Andrew Tucker, Sir Calvin Wallace, and Chase Walling.

Also, only Feldt, Kelly, LaFrance, Lancaster, Schrapps and Tucker have been given 3 stars by Rivals and Rice by Scout. That's seven three-star athletes. Clark, Davis, Hines, Lewis, and Rice have yet to be graded by Rivals.

Don't forget about some walk-ons that may be awarded ships. One that comes immediately to mind is Ivan Delgado.

I specifically remember hearing DMac saying (maybe during Troy postgame) that Delgado would be awarded a scholarship. Rightly so.

I agree with your assessment of 5 remaining scholarships. A lot of folks add all the recruiting services together to get their 3 stars number. Lewis, Davis, and Dilonga are 3 stars on ESPN.

Vito says only 3 left. Says it came straight from Coach Mac.

And if there is something that Vito excells at, it is repeating info that comes straight from Coach Mac.

Give it a rest.

We get it. You don't like Vito.
