Nah... not N word.
But I called him woke from the jump...
And his skin color ain't got shit to do with it as we all know white liberal women are the worst of the woke... It's his past of putting together a group think organization of black only (<---woke give away) big 12 assitant coaches during the George Floyd drug overdose.... any group that intentionally segregated itself off the basis of race is within itself racist by virtue. But you very well may be of the walks of life that state black folks can't be racist. Which is absolute BS.
Are these "opinions" taboo? Not sure. Don't care.
honestly, why don't y'all just use the n-word at this point? everyone knows you're saying the same thing and not doing so is, ironically, just being woke.
really surprised that it took this long, but here we are.
This was great.
As is always the case, the more things change, the more they stay the same. We never could get SMU or really any of the old private SWC schools to support us in any way, in football or basketball. I know that UH didn't exactly help the case for us being in the SWC, since they came right into the league and handled the competition rather easily, for the most part, from 1976-1985.
I love Hayden Fry and Bill Blakeley, but their biggest mistake wasn't seeing that the Big Eight was their best play. They could've used the Big Eight coming into Texas as their power move to get some SWC sway. But in reality, if we had gotten into the Big Eight in the late 70's, we had premier college brands in Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Colorado, as well as some solid OSU teams, to host. And in hoops, Kansas, KSU, Mizzou, Iowa State, and Oklahoma were all big national brands. Imagine seeing Barry Switzer, Tom Osborne, Bill McCartney, Larry Brown, Roy Williams, Norm Stewart, and Billy Tubbs leading their squads in games in Denton in the 80s, while SMU and TCU were hosting a dying contingent of SWC teams in those two sports?
My son is a Mean Green Maniac and I support UNT basketball. The last 8 years have been fabulous.
Thanks to all the coaches, players, and collectives that have made our success possible. Information
that I have received tells me that all is not well with basketball. The standard for our programs is 20
win seasons. Womens team has coaching issues according to players I am told by my son. Mens team is now being coached by a Woke and DEI individual. Think not, look at his Wikipedia and do
some research on him. That will not be successful with our donors. Cleveland State players will not
win 20 games and Burton want either. Lost 5 starters...Wooten, Deck, Hardaway, and Duncan. My perspective, hope I am mistaken.
