What We Know: South Alabama will be the newest member next season, joining Arkansas State, Florida Atlantic, FIU, La.-Lafayette, La.-Monroe, Middle Tennessee State, North Texas, Troy and Western Kentucky.

What’s Probably Going To Happen Next: Conference USA could soon come calling for FIU and Western Kentucky, while North Texas and Arkansas State are attractive options that could make a jump soon.

WKU has one winning season and no bowl and all of a sudden they would be a great match for CUSA? This clown only looked at the Sunbelt rankings for this year to decide as to who should be promoted.

Fact.... ASU will be hurting next year with the departure of Freeze to Ole Miss

Fact.... Noone knows if WKU will amount to anything without Rainey. He seemed to be the only threat on their offense and he is gone

Fact.... FIU loses both their QB and Hilton (who combined with RB Rhodes was the only threat on their offense)

WKU has some serious basketball credentials. Not only have they been to the dance, they've been to the Sweet 16 (maybe higher?). And their success is over a long history. They are also good at the non-revenue sports. They are usually one of the top couple teams in the Bubas Cup standings.

Their biggest hit is they don't bring television sets.

WKU has some serious basketball credentials. Not only have they been to the dance, they've been to the Sweet 16 (maybe higher?). And their success is over a long history. They are also good at the non-revenue sports. They are usually one of the top couple teams in the Bubas Cup standings.

Their biggest hit is they don't bring television sets.

I get the basketball history but the fact that they just had their first good year in football (largely due to one player) is hardly able to be ingnored.
