I don't know how long we have until today's Wikipedia front page content changes, but a fellow UNT alum just pointed out to me that our very own Lance Dunbar gets some front page love from Wikipedia on today's front page! As soon as I can shrink my screencap down to 20K, I'll upload it for posterity's sake.

Here's the note:

Did you know...

From Wikipedia's newest content:

... that the D.E. Frantz House (pictured) is the only Victorian house in Aspen, Colorado, that still has its oriel window?

... that the 1693 Sicily earthquake caused about 60,000 deaths and prompted an architectural revival described as "the culmination and final flowering of Baroque art in Europe"?

... that although the Michigan–Michigan State basketball rivalry has had 167 games, the two teams have never played while both were ranked in the top 10?

... that when you can see a person speaking, sometimes you hear something different than what is being said because the brain cannot tell whether it is seeing or hearing speech?

... that Lance Dunbar led the North Texas Mean Green football team in rushing yards in 2009 and 2010?... that Bart Millard intended the music to the song "Word of God Speak" to mirror its overall lyrical theme?

I could get on Wikipedia right now and write that we have won 43 National Championships and have produced seven first-round picks and it would probably stay up there for a few hours. Just saying...

You're really underestimating their mods. They are very good about taking stuff down in a timely manner.

Also, I could have sworn the first game at Fouts was the snow-bowlish loss to FSU? Bowden's first season?

I am sensing a sarcastic bit here...Fouts opened in 1952. Bowden's FSU team played here in the 70s sometime.
